Nepali foreign workers contribute to 30% of the country’s GDP.
Every year they remitted USD6 billion to Nepal.
USD6 billion exceeded the amount of money that the Prime Minister of Malaysia embezzled from Malaysian people but mysteriously Nepal still remained as one of the poorest country in the world.
The biggest export of Nepal is not agriculture produce but Nepali men.
Yet, in Malaysia, a Nepali man dies in sleep every single day.
Finally, there is a reasonable explanation for the rising mortality rates among Nepali foreign workers.
A combination of stressful working conditions coupled with severe dehydration and poor diet caused internal organs to shut down.
Nepali men are not robots.
There should be a reform ASAP within the foreign worker recruitment industry.
